The word has got around: More and more hikers, motorcyclists and cyclists are making a "pit stop" with us in the Kachelofen to recharge their batteries and relax in the cozy ambience of our restaurant or on the historic market place in the shadow of our large umbrellas and the gentle splashing of the stone fountain.

Our menu offers a variety of delicious, regional cuisine. Fresh, light salads, hearty, Swabian specialties and sweet treats - all homemade. Those who are on a sporty journey can of course also order small portions.

In our large locked garage, your bike is not only secure, you can also carry out minor maintenance with our toolbox, refill air with the compressor, recharge your e-bike with electricity, let clothes dry. This service is of course free of charge, like secure parking over night for our  two-wheeling hotel guests, as well. If you need a repair, our bicycle screwdriver will be happy to help you quickly, professional and for a moderate price.

Herbert, the boss, is an enthusiastic motorcycle touring rider and hiker himself.

Born in Allgäu, he lived in the local recreation area of ​​western forests for a long time and knows many great bike and hiking trails and motorcycle routes around Krumbach to the Alps. He will be happy to give you tips for your tour or your stay in Krumbach.
